Priority One is a novel set in the exotic lands of sub-Saharan Africa, where two Americans – a pacifist aid worker and a toughened CIA agent – must team up to eradicate the threat of terrorists acquiring a nuclear bomb.  The second novel in this series, Priority Santa Barbara, brings the threat back to the U.S., and the same main characters must once again deal with the question of how much violence is required to deter violence.  In the third novel of the series, The Mission Priority, terrorists disrupt a Presidential Debate.

Other writings by Bryant Wieneke include Winning Without the Spin: A True Hero in American Politics (Kroshka Imprint, Nova Science Publishers, 1999), which tells the true story of a religious studies professor who decides to run for Congress after 32 years in the classroom – and wins.  A Dry and Thirsty Land is an account of the author’s comic adventures as a Peace Corps Volunteer in northwest Africa.  It's All Relative is a work of creative non-fiction that describes the remarkable day when Albert Einstein discovered the theory of relativity.
